We are excited to announce that we’ve made significant improvements to our BOM file processing! Our latest enhancements will streamline the upload process further, increase accuracy, and save you valuable time. Here’s what’s new:

When a valid CSV BOM is uploaded with a project:

• A detailed message is displayed about what columns in the CSV we recognise and which ones are ignored.

• There is a checkbox which allows you to select whether you want to DNP placements that are not in the CSV BOM.
• You will now be given the option to select how you would like us to combine your CSV data with your EDA file data.
• You can choose to have the platform merge the data from both files or to prioritize CSV BOM data and ignore MPNs from the EDA files or to prioritize EDA files ignoring and MPNs from the CSV BOM.

We also provide better feedback if a CSV file is uploaded that we don't understand or if multiple CSV files are uploaded.

• You will see a warning if you attempt to upload multiple CSV files

• You will see a warning if you upload a CSV file which is not in a format that we support.
