Case study
Exciting updates from our factory floor
Exciting updates from our factory floor
The second quarter has been a period of significant operational improvements. We are thrilled to share some fantastic progress and innovations happening on our factory floor.
New board wash machine
In response to customer feedback regarding the cleanliness of our prototypes, we've made a substantial investment in a new board wash machine. The brand-new Trident ZDO machine has been installed and commissioned on the prototype line recently. This addition will significantly enhance the cleanliness of our prototypes, addressing one of the most common concerns from our customers.
New semi-automated rework machine
In our continual pursuit of perfection, we've also installed a new semi-automated rework machine on the prototype line. This machine will allow us to rework devices in a controlled manner, especially those where the connections cannot be visually inspected. It uses a closed-loop profiled Convection and IR reflow system, ensuring precision and quality in every rework.
DFM reviews
We're also enhancing our Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback. While we've always provided informal feedback on our prototype line, we're now offering a more formal DFM analysis, focusing on high volume orders. This new service, provided at no extra cost, can include cost savings, efficiency improvements, and error risk reduction/prevention, adding even more value to your orders.
CAM team expansion
Lastly, we'd like to highlight our own CAM engineering department. Implemented a few years ago, it still plays an essential role in reducing the number of steps between you and any board fabrication queries. We've recently expanded the team and increased our timezone coverage, ensuring almost 24-hour support and minimal downtime.
We're excited about these updates and improvements, and we're sure you will be too. Stay tuned for more exciting updates from our team!
